Hydraulic Performance

|
|
| Q: Why are your sewage pumps divided into big submersible sewage pump and small submersible sewage pump? |
A: Our sewage pumps are classified by power to better adapt to different application scenarios.
|
| Q: What is the minimum liquid level requirement for installation? |
| A: The liquid level must be above the “▽” mark on the pump dimension drawing to ensure the motor stator is sufficiently submerged. |
| Q: What are the vulnerable parts and replacement cycle? |
A: Main vulnerable parts: mechanical seal, oil seal, bearings, O-rings.
|
| Q: What starting methods are supported? |
| A: Our WQ submersible sewage pumps support four starting methods: direct start, star-delta start, auto-transformer start, and electronic soft start. Star-delta start must be specified in advance during inquiry, as it will affect the pump cable wiring mode. Matching control cabinets are provided for all starting modes. |
Q: How to maintain the pump during long-term shutdown? |
A: Drain all liquid inside the pump, clean the impeller and pump casing, store in dry and ventilated environment. Check seals and cables before restarting. |
To maximize the service life of your equipment, we recommend the following rules:
Routine Inspection: Regularly monitor the control cabinet for stable current and voltage. Listen for any abnormal vibration or mechanical noise during operation.
Oil Chamber Maintenance: Check the oil every 2,000 operating hours. If the oil appears emulsified (milky), replace the mechanical seal immediately to protect the motor.
Insulation Monitoring: Periodically test the motor’s insulation resistance. It should remain above 50MΩ for safe and reliable operation.
Wear Part Replacement: Inspect the clearance between the impeller and the wear ring annually. Timely replacement maintains hydraulic efficiency and reduces energy costs.
