The TPW and TWZ series are our two horizontal end-suction circulation pumps built on the same hydraulic design — identical impeller and casing hydraulics deliver the same flow, head and efficiency. What makes them different is the structure, and each structure brings its own advantages. Choose the one that best matches your temperature, maintenance and budget requirements.
In the TPW, the impeller is mounted directly on an extended motor shaft, so the pump has pump shaft of its own. This close-coupled construction gives it a short cantilever, which keeps shaft deflection and vibration low and makes running more stable and reliable. Thanks to the compact design, the TPW covers a wider performance range — from DN32 up to DN350 — and, because it needs fewer components and no coupling set, it is more economical and cost-effective than a long-coupled pump of the same duty.
The TWZ uses a standard IEC B3 motor and a stub shaft, connected through a rigid coupling. Because the pump is isolated from the motor, the TWZ is suitable for much higher liquid temperatures — up to 140 °C (versus 80 °C for the TPW) — making it the right choice for hot-water and heat-transfer duty. It also uses a standard, widely available B3 motor, so the motor is easier to source, replace or interchange in the field, which simplifies long-term maintenance.

Selection tip: For standard cold/hot water circulation up to 80 °C where budget matters, choose TPW. For high-temperature duty up to 140 °C, or where you want a standard motor you can swap out anywhere, choose TWZ.
